Rose Coat - White Swan

Rose Coat is a long coat with detachable belt and pockets in the side seams.  The coat has buttons in placket front and a small shirt collar in neckline. The coat is made in cotton canvas, and it is made with eye-catching Suzani embroidery all over. This special designed artwork features poppy flowers, hearts, strawberries and a huge Yin and Yang symbol, that represent the interconnectedness of the natural world.

This Suzani embroidered item is decorated with the manually controlled chain stitch technique of Suzani embroidery. Our Suzani embroidery is made by Indian artisans, mostly using the tambour to create a unique and vivid Suzani embroidery pattern. The name “Suzani” comes from the Persian word "su-zan", meaning needle. The Indian artisans use a hooked needle instrument called a tambour to create the intricate chain stitching that is the hallmark of Suzani embroidery. Due to the manually controlled nature of Suzani embroidery, you may notice little variations from one garment to another that add to the unique charm of a Suzani decorated item.
